1. Information We Collect

When you reserve a cab or contact us via our secure booking engine, we request minimal details required to manage your trip schedule:

  • Personal Identifiers: Your full name and email address to prepare and deliver your travel invoice receipt.
  • Contact Details: Your active phone number (prefilled with country code) to allow our support desk and drivers to coordinate pickup terminals in Srinagar.
  • Travel Parameters: Pick-up date, timing, rental duration, vehicle type preference, and pickup/drop station points.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process personal credentials strictly to fulfill our travel reservation agreements:

  • To confirm and register your direct Kashmiri taxi bookings.
  • To dispatch transactional updates (SMS, OTPs, and booking confirmations via Resend email service).
  • To enable secure communication between the assigned commercial local driver and yourself during the trip.
  • To continuously monitor and protect our web application from cross-site scripting (XSS) or SQL injection vulnerabilities.

3. Transaction & Payment Security

We prioritize state-of-the-art secure payment channels. When you click "Proceed to Payment", the advance token processing is entirely handled by **Razorpay (in Test/Live SSL environment)**:

  • Travelancer Kashmir **never stores** your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or internet banking credentials on our database servers.
  • All payments are verified via strict cryptographic SHA-256 signatures validated on our backend APIs.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal, non-invasive cookies to optimize layout rendering speeds and session persistence. Third-party analytic scripts (like Google Analytics) collect aggregate, anonymized traffic data to guide our marketing campaigns without recording personal coordinates.
